Frequently asked questions

You Have Questions. We Believe You Deserve Clear Answers.

1. How do I know Queen Publishing Agency is legitimate?

We understand why authors are cautious. Unfortunately, the publishing industry includes companies that make unrealistic promises, hide important fees, or leave authors with little control over their own books.

Queen Publishing Agency believes in transparency from the beginning. We clearly explain our process, services, deliverables, pricing, and expectations before your project begins. You will know what is included, what happens next, and who is helping bring your book to life.

We are not here to pressure you into publishing. We are here to help you make an informed decision about your book.

Yes. We understand that publishing a book is an important investment, and we want the payment process to be as clear and manageable as possible.

A 50 percent deposit is required before work can begin on your book. The remaining 50 percent balance is due before your completed final book files are released.

Your payment schedule, included services, and project deliverables will be clearly outlined in your publishing agreement before the project begins.

Queen Publishing Agency offers professional, done-for-you publishing services.

Unlike a traditional publisher that purchases selected manuscripts and controls much of the publishing process, our clients hire us to professionally produce and publish their books while maintaining ownership and creative control.

Your investment may cover services such as project management, professional cover design, interior formatting, publishing setup, file preparation, platform submission, and distribution support, based on the package you select.

You are not simply paying to upload a file. You are investing in the professional team and process required to turn your manuscript into a polished, market-ready book.

Yes. Your story remains your story.

Queen Publishing Agency does not take ownership of your book. You retain the rights to your work and maintain control over how your book and intellectual property are used.

Your publishing agreement will clearly explain ownership, responsibilities, deliverables, and services so you can move forward confidently.

No. Our authors keep 100 percent of the royalties paid to them through their publishing accounts.

We are compensated through the publishing package you select, not by taking a percentage of your book’s future earnings. Your book belongs to you, and so do your royalties.

Retailers, distributors, and printing platforms will still deduct their standard printing, distribution, and retailer fees from each sale. The remaining royalty is paid according to the terms of the platform through which the book is sold.

A powerful message can lose credibility when it is wrapped in an amateur cover or difficult-to-read interior. Professional presentation matters.

We focus on the elements that help a book look polished, credible, and ready for readers, including:

  • A professionally designed cover

  • Clean, readable interior formatting

  • Correct files for each publishing format

  • A compelling title, subtitle, and book description

  • Consistent branding and visual presentation

  • Proper setup for publishing and distribution

You will also have opportunities to review and approve important creative elements throughout the process.

We do not simply create your book behind a curtain and reveal it at the end. This is your book, and your voice and vision matter.

We believe authors should know what they are agreeing to before work begins.

Your proposal and publishing agreement will explain the services and deliverables included in your selected package.

When an optional service falls outside the original scope of the project, we will discuss the additional cost with you before moving forward.

No surprise fees. No mysterious publishing math. No unexpected bill appearing from the shadows wearing a tiny villain mustache.

Yes. We bring professional publishing experience to the project, but we do not take your book away from you.

Our team may make recommendations about your title, subtitle, cover, formatting, positioning, or presentation when we believe a change will strengthen your book. However, the process is collaborative.

We listen to your ideas, explain our recommendations, and work with you to create a book that feels like yours while meeting professional publishing standards.

Our job is not to erase your voice. Our job is to help present it professionally.

Our publishing process can prepare your book in three formats:

  • Paperback

  • Hardcover

  • eBook

Books may be published through Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing and IngramSpark, depending on the project and publishing plan. These platforms can make books available through major online retail and distribution channels.

It is important to understand that distribution and bookstore placement are not the same thing.

Distribution means that a retailer or bookstore may be able to find and order your book. It does not guarantee that every bookstore will automatically stock physical copies on its shelves.

We will explain what availability and distribution mean for your specific book so you have realistic expectations from the beginning.

No reputable publishing company can guarantee a specific number of sales, bestseller status, or financial return.

Publishing creates the product. Marketing creates awareness.

Book sales depend on many factors, including the book’s topic, audience, positioning, cover, pricing, reviews, author platform, launch strategy, and ongoing promotion.

What we can do is help you create a professionally published, beautifully designed book that is positioned to compete in the marketplace.

We will never promise overnight success simply to secure your business.

Your book can open doors, build authority, support a business, preserve a legacy, create speaking opportunities, or generate revenue. However, meaningful results usually require continued effort after publication.

You do not need to have a completed manuscript to begin your publishing journey with Queen Publishing Agency.

If you have a powerful story, valuable expertise, or an idea for a book but need help turning it into a complete manuscript, our Queen Story Method may be the right service for you.

The Queen Story Method is designed to help transform your experiences, knowledge, and ideas into an organized, professionally developed manuscript that is ready to move into the publishing process.

You bring the story. We help shape it into a book.

During your Publishing Strategy Session, we will discuss your idea, determine how much development is needed, and help you decide whether the Queen Story Method is the right next step for your project.

Most first-time authors feel overwhelmed.

Publishing involves editing, design, formatting, ISBNs, metadata, pricing, uploading, distribution, and enough unfamiliar terminology to make a perfectly intelligent person consider hiding under the nearest blanket.

You do not have to figure it all out alone.

Queen Publishing Agency provides a guided, done-for-you process designed to move your book from manuscript to publication without requiring you to become a publishing expert.

We manage the technical and production details while keeping you informed and involved in the decisions that matter.

The timeline depends on the condition and length of your manuscript, the type of book, the services required, the number of revisions, and how quickly materials and approvals are provided.

A children’s picture book with custom illustrations will have a different production schedule than a journal, workbook, novel, or nonfiction book.

Before your project begins, we will discuss the anticipated stages and timeline for your specific book.

Clear communication and timely approvals help keep the project moving.

Queen Publishing Agency works with a wide range of book projects, including:

  • Novels

  • Cookbooks

  • Journals

  • Workbooks

Every project is evaluated individually to determine whether it is a good fit for our services and team.

Yes. Queen Publishing Agency offers professional author website services for authors who want a polished online home for their books and brand.

An author website gives readers, event organizers, media professionals, and potential clients one central place to learn about you, explore your books, and connect with your work.

Depending on your needs, your author website may include:

  • Your author biography

  • Your published books

  • Book descriptions and purchase links

  • Speaking or media information

  • Reader or client testimonials

  • Contact information

  • Links to your social media platforms

  • Information about upcoming books, events, or services

Your website package, pages, features, and project scope will be discussed before work begins so you clearly understand what is included.

Publication is an exciting milestone, but it is not the end of your author journey.

After your book becomes available, you may choose to focus on launching, marketing, gathering reviews, building your author platform, booking speaking opportunities, selling directly to readers, or developing companion products.

The strongest books are not treated like one-time projects. They become assets that can continue supporting your message, business, authority, or legacy long after publication day.

The first step is to schedule a complimentary Publishing Strategy Session.

During the conversation, we will learn about your book, discuss where you are in the process, answer your questions, and determine whether Queen Publishing Agency is the right partner for your project.

There is no pressure to arrive knowing all the answers.

Bring your manuscript, your questions, and your vision. We will help you understand the path forward.
