Author/Publisher AJ Kikumoto dared to write a children’s book to share her passion and
awareness around Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), a motor speech disorder that makes it difficult for children to speak.
Four of her six kids have Apraxia of Speech and were mute until age 4. Amaya, child #3,
was crowned International Junior Miss Colorado Jr Princess at age 6, only 2 years of speaking any words.
She gave a memorized minute speech on an international stage in Nashville, TN! There was not a dry eye in that Grand Ole Opry ballroom! How do you not share this success story of passion, hard work, with years of therapy, even horse therapy in a barn, thinking all was lost with no hope? Dare to share your story! Dare to inspire! Dare to take a chance and just do it!
There is no greater feeling than sharing what you have created and watching others enjoy your creation. My kid authors and I had the privilege of sharing our story during the world pandemic virtually with the elementary school. We left the school like kings and queens. Autographing books feels so celebrity-like! We want EVERYONE to have this feeling of being published. This could be YOU!
Queen Publishing Agency was born when author/publisher AJ Kikumoto struggled to get her own children’s book series, Zoey’s Great Adventures, published and saw the need to help others just get published! If you could just google How to Publish a Book, and a simple answer came up, then that would be magical and your book would be published! But, alas, there is no simple answer. There HAS to be a better way!
